Cooler Late Summer Weather is Coming

The last day of Summer has arrived, at least as far as many of our children are concerned.  School is back in session soon an Labor Day is upon us.  However, ImageSummer fun is not done.  September holds so much promise for those who wish to avoid the crowds and still enjoy the warm days and slowly cooling nights.

Summer weather continues through September offering some of the nicest days to be our on the water or on a hike in the mountains,  Huckleberry picking is fantastic in the late summer and prices for rental boats, tours and equipment is just a little better than during the summer rush.

September Summer nights are special as the nights cool just enough to suggest finding a vacation rental with a fire pit outdoors and a fireplace indoors.  Snuggle up next to your loved ones around the fire and read, chat and enjoy the night.  Or gather your friends around the bonfire to roast marshmallows and make smores.

Take an early morning hike along Tubb’s Hill just steps from Coeur d’Alene downtown and find a great little spot to watch the sunrise over the lake while you sip coffee and enjoy pastries from one of Coeur d’Alene’s wonderful bakeries.

Rent a boat, jet ski, pontoon boat and hit the open waters.  Enjoy the beaches and clear refreshing water of Lake Coeur d’Alene. Image
